Great hand carved basalt pyramids are made in Egypt and each in unique. Available in several sizes (medium is photographed):

Tiny: Comes in a set of 3 and are about 1 inch tall.
Small: Single piece only 2 inches high
Medium: Single piece about 2 1/2 inches high
Large: Single piece about 3 inches high
XLarge: Single piece about 5 inches high (this piece is hollow - all others are solid basalt)

Pyramid - A symbol of ascension, pyramids in ancient Egypt were built as a representation of the worlds axis, with the body of the structure symbolising mans ascent to the heavenly skies, in particular the Pharoahs ascention to Heaven and the Afterlife. It also symbolized the sloping rays of the sun as a source of eternal strength and energy. Yet another symbolic idea is that they represent the Primeval Mound of Creation on which the sun-god was said to have been born.
