Akhenaton was known as the Heretic King for his attempt to throw out the Egyptian Gods replacing them with just one, the Aten, or Sun Disk. He also caused a change in the style of art during his life with more realistic portrayals of people and family life.
Here he shown in a relief now in the Agyptiches Museum in Berlin from 1350 BC with his wife, Nefertiti, and his daughters. The plaque is made of cast stone with an antique finish and is 13 x 15 inches (33 x 38 cm).
