Isis represents the riches of the earth, whose beauty arose through her union with her beloved Osiris, manifested in the Waters of the Nile. Isis is the mother of Horus, the Sun of God. Isis is also joined to the Morning Star, Venus. She is said to have been the first to practice embalming, which the Ancient Egyptians believed held the key to immorality. For this supreme gift, she is remebered as the Peerless Magician who gave humanity the chance to attain eternal life.
